China Sanya Yacht Import & Export Trade Association

Oceanwalker

Association visit

The project started in 2022, building its first boat in Zhuhai before establishing a formal manufacturing base in Fujian in December of that year. The first 60 ft catamaran went to Dubai, after which the yard relocated wholesale to Fujian, operating from the Fujian Skywalker shipyard at Longhai, Zhangzhou.

Since 2024 the overseas brand has been standardised as Oceanwalker — a change made for registrability reasons in the United States rather than aesthetics, the previous English name having run into an intellectual property obstacle.

The S60 power catamaran is the core product and the volume driver; the builder has reported building its nineteenth hull and a target of another 50–60 units over five years. The S60e variant carries solar and lithium-ion systems, and in January 2026 an S60 departed on a three-year circumnavigation. The monohull side is the X53 and X62 flybridge motor yachts. An S50 and an S80 are in development.

The brand explicitly rejects competing on price, arguing that future pricing power and secondhand residual value depend on not lowering standards for the sake of an order or a delivery date. Manufacturing is deliberately in-house rather than outsourced, to keep process consistency under control.
