What we are
The China Sanya Yacht Import & Export Trade Association (SYTA) is a registered industry association based in Sanya, Hainan Free Trade Port, operating under the professional supervision of the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Commerce.
We support long-term, structured engagement between China and the international yachting industry. Our role is not to act as a commercial intermediary. We do not broker boats, take commission on transactions, or represent any single company's interests.
What we do
Publish industry information. We maintain a public record of Chinese yacht builders and the wider supply chain, compiled to a consistent set of fields so that companies can be compared on the same basis. We also compile the *Sanya Yacht Industry and Navigation Services Guide*, a reference work covering the regulatory, operational and commercial environment for yachts in Sanya.
Convene dialogue. We organise forums, delegation exchanges and curated meetings between Chinese and international industry participants, based in Sanya.
Support market access in both directions. We provide context to Chinese companies working toward export markets, and to international brands and equipment suppliers assessing entry into China.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, broker or charter yachts.
- We do not certify, rate or endorse companies. Inclusion in our directory is a record, not a recommendation.
- We do not provide legal, customs or tax advice. Where this site describes regulation, it points to the competent authority; it does not substitute for that authority's current requirements.
International cooperation
The association holds cooperation agreements with counterpart bodies in the region, including a memorandum of understanding with the Thai Yacht Business Association, and a strategic cooperation framework with international industry partners.
