Hansheng Yacht Builders
Association visitHansheng was established in 2002; its predecessor, the Xiamen fibreglass boatyard, dates to 1984, which is the origin of the long export record. Part of the original workforce trained abroad, which the yard still cites as the basis of its technical depth.
Its strategic position is unusual and deliberate: Hansheng has not set out to build a global consumer brand. It positions itself as a construction partner to international brands, handling hull building, systems installation and sea trials. It is publicly identified as the exclusive OEM production partner for the American brands Stevens Custom Yachts and Passport Yachts, and as China's largest builder of sailing yachts and racing dinghies.
Own-brand products run alongside the contract work: the Gallop motor yacht line at 48, 52.8, 58 and 62.8 ft; Flying Tiger racing sailboats at 7.5 m and 10 m; cruising sailing yachts at 46, 53 and 56 ft; plus sightseeing craft and fast boats. Some sailing models have accumulated close to 100 hulls, and at least one mature mould has passed 200.
